Bose is not average in sound quality. I have a bose revolve plus speaker that I bought myself as a Christmas present a couple years ago. I never used it all that much until last week. The sound especially for music and audio dramas is amazing. It has enough bass to have a very full sound and is very detailed. I live at home, so I couldn't have multiple speakers in different rooms of our house even if I wanted to. I'm glad that Richard is very happy with his sonos speakers. I've never heard one of those speakers. I've also got a google home and that smart speaker has a very good sound as well.
