I always read the details of updates before updating. Winston stated in the 
details of this update that VoiceOver users would no longer be able to scan 
from the image preview. 
He enhanced the visual functionality of the image preview. 
My guess is that we should not have been able to use that from the beginning, 
but it worked. The capture button has always worked, and was designed for our 
use. 
Not to mention you can also enable the auto capture feature.
