Shane, Seeing AI provides both, the text and an option to explore by touch. Both would be good, but if one isn't going to be included, leave out the explore by touch and just include the text.
As for columns, the only point would be to have it accurately rendered. To me, that includes knowing if you are in column 1 or 2, or 3...
