I don't think I've run into that terminology.
I plug my phone into the USB port and launch File Explorer with WindowsKey+e.
Arrow down to the Apple iPhone and hit enter.
Then drill down through the folders until I find the folder, or folders, that
contain photos and copy that folder or files to my hard drive where I know I
can find them again.

Subject: Set iPhone as USB Device

Hello list
It is the first time that I try to copy photos from my iPhone to PC. When I
plug the cable into the pc's usb port I get a message on the iPhone that I must
set it as USB device. I looked through the settings but I can not find such a
setting. Can someone please help? I thought the pc will automatically pick up
the iPhone at least to copy photos.
Regards
Fanus
