Hallo Scott,

yes, you could identify the triangle. It has a clear structure and if it is 
presented on a one-colored background, you will see it by tapping onto the 
picture. In real life photographies, however, it might be much harder, since 
you often do not have taht clear borders.

The life scan mode might be also interesting for exploring your environment. 
Since it is based on camera images, you can also scan distant objects. I was 
once sitting on a bench and played around with the ColorVisor. I was able to 
distinguish between the grey stone path and the green gras next to it and could 
folow the path with the camera. If course, this method is very slow and of 
course not the ultimate solution, but it was quite nice.
