Siri has her / his moments, The USA obviously should have the best results with siri,
Due to the input apple get from the USA based resources, I know for me here in NZ my city is only 130 K population But while I type this I'm sitting in a café having coffee on a main street, And she can't find the café I'm in, Or give me the address for it, I also tried a pizza restaurant about 500m away and she couldn't find that either, But she can do things like write a message or make a phone call, Although does get spelling wrong constantly but that I believe is also to do with how fast I / we kiwis speak. I have criticized SIRI often enough myself, but let's face it, none of these digital assistants are perfect and each has strength and weaknesses. All the original poster would have had to do when SIRI cancelled the reply was to ask SIRI to send a message to the person and say "No" when asked what to write and I bet if the answer had been "No, definitely not" it would have also worked.
