Currently I have the iPhone 12 pro, and I had the iPhone X before that. both are very close in size to the current iPhone SE 2020. The iPhone 12 Pro Max is much larger. I had no problem making the switch to the iPhone without a home button. In fact I found the transfer essentially seamless and the new gestures very natural. Now, I really prefer an iPhone that does not have a home button. My wife has the iPhone SE 2020, and while it's a good device, my iPhone 12 pro is vastly superior. The battery in my 12 Pro last much longer then on my wife's phone. It's hard to say if the iPhone 12 pro is worth more than double the money of the iPhone SE 2020. I think that's a personal choice that must be made by the individual, but I'm happy I went with the 12 pro and would do it again without hesitation.

My poor iPhone SE is on it's last legs, bad battery, etc. This is the original SE purchased in the spring of 2017. I'm looking at either the iPhone 12 Pro or the 12 Pro Max. I like the size of the SE 2020, but I need a good battery, and it seems like the SE 2020 and the iPhone 12 mini fall a bit short. What are people's experiences with the iPhone 12 Pro Max? I know there's no home button, but how easy is it to unlock the screen as a totally blind person? Was it difficult getting used to the larger screen? TIA for the info.
