Hello, Debby, thanks for such a positive and helpful response. Your suggestion to use the rotor to find links and then flick to the link was a big part of the solution. After doing that I ended up having to take it a bit further by performing a one-finger triple tap (long press) on the link. I then found and double tapped the Open Link button after which Safari opened and presented me with the page on which I was able to allow access.
