I can’t address Outlook for iOS not keeping the available action selected indefinitely when you single finger swipe down on a message in the list. I will say you can get to delete after two single finger swipes up in my case. I don’t really use the calendar functions of Outlook for iOS but you can change the view as others have posted by executing the change view button in the upper right corner when calendar has been selected from the bottomline tab bar. My main reason for preferring Outlook for iOS over the native Mail app is its ability to retain focus in the correct location when I close an opened thread or as I navigate among my inbox messages with new messages coming in. It doesn’t jump to the top upon receipt of a new message as the native Mail app seems to often do but keeps focus on where I was in the list.
