Remember the network overhead too of course; this is like a private
cloud... but it still goes through their servers somewhere in the process?

You may not need a jukebox app specifically. I just pressed one of the songs
in a folder from my iPhone and now it's proceeding to play on through the
rest of the music in the file. I realize that isn't the same as a jukebox
but you don't have to keep picking songs one by one to be streamed. Oh, I
see what it did! I was exploring through folders and opened a folder with
music. when I tapped one song, it switched to the music tab and is in the
same player it would use if it were playing music on my iPhone and that's
why it just keeps going on through all the songs in the folder! This really
is a cool app! I've always wished I could attach my phone to an external
drive sometimes and then I'd use my computer less; this is the next best
thing; you can't get rid of the computer but you can access anything you
need on it as long as something on the iPhone will work with it! Better than
attaching an external drive in some ways because you don't have something
extra to carry around and connect. You just would want to make sure nobody
else can get your phone and get into your computer. This is like having ssh
on your phone, which I believe you can do but only by jailbreaking.

Your entire computer will be able to be accessed by your IOS device.
There are also options to access this through a web address. If you log in
you will have access to it all. Then there are links to share folders that
you would want others to see.
So if you want just one subfolder to be given to someone, it will have a
url for them to click on, and will only show the portion you allowed them
access to.
