In my book better quality sound and feel to them.

Bose are speaker / sound system builders
After shockz are a different product intirely

I have both the tenor and tempo frames and the tempos have a better battery
life than the tenors but the sound is just as good and with taps on the side of
the arm or slide your finger on the right arm you get some touch controls.

They also give you a form of surround sound which the after shockz don't give
you.
Plus the frames let you watch tv or movies as well as listen to gps directions
I use them with google maps

Without issues, they may cost more but they are well worth the price you pay.
