Hi Pam, Thank you very much for your input. I finally got through to a sales person at ADT that was willing to help instead of selling us an upgrade to our service.
It turns out that we have an extended warranty and if they can't fix the current piece of crap they installed before they'll replace it for free, and hopefully with something better. I want to stay with something that'll work using the ADT Pulse app, so I'm going to give them another attempt at the thermostat. The 1 before was a Nest thermostat and they don't sell the Nest thermostats any more, so we'll see what they show up with. I'm going to keep your suggestion, so I'll have it if ADT installs another piece of crap. Thanks again for your input. Stay safe & take care. Mike. It can be operated via the iPhone or through their website. We have had a few issues with our AC, and like the fact that you can access logs of any problems it has detected. It was a little quirky getting it set up with WiFi at first. We ended up having to enter the WiFi password on the touchpad on the thermostat, and used Aira to assist with that. There may have been another way to do that , though.
