Hi Joe,

I've been experiencing similar behavior as well with my iPhone SE 2020 and 
smart battery case. It seems to be intermittent, meaning that sometimes that 
happens some days it doesn't. I have not yet found any one thing that I can do 
to either trigger or fix it. Hopefully Apple addresses this soon. After all, 
that's the whole point of using their smart battery case over aftermarket 
products.
