When you say you like the home button I am curious whether you ever tried a phone without the home button and if you did, was it just for a few minutes or did you have a chance to really "use" it for maybe a day or two? I find that I don't miss the home button at all and that is the same thing I hear from others who now have a phone without and let's face it, even the iPhone SE 2020 with the guts which for the most part are those of an iPhone 11 will be already two years old when the iPhone 13 is released and eventually it's pretty safe to say you have to get an iPhone without home button so why not get an iPhone 13 this fall and get used to it. That is at least my 2 cents worth on that topic. To me that is a little bit like people who have Windows 10 but install these shells which make it look like Windows 7 which in my opinion is a real step back.
