So, does would removing QuickTime affect the phone's programs functions in any way-or just the PC side of playing videos? The only thing I found on Google was that QT was necessary for ACC conversions, but I always use the Apple Losless version. Thanks. Cher

You can't play videos in iTunes without QuickTime but it shouldn't affect anything else. Sometimes iTunes doesn't even install QuickTime on a PC, though I'm not sure what criteria it uses for determining whether or not to install it.
