Also, if you are on certain phones, for example the iPhone 8, you can turn the phone off by pressing and holding the side power button by itself until you hear the "power off" option.

Settings > General > Turn off iPhone, to speed it up a bit you can ask SIRI to go to General Settings, then do a 4-finger ap near the bottom of the screen and focus should be on the Turn off button. Of course after you tap it you still have to tap the "Power Off" button. 2. Press and hold the Side Button and Volume Down for a second or so, focus may not be on the Power Off button and you have to be a bit careful in case it is on Emergency Call, just flick left a couple of times and you should be on Power Off. As for turning it on there are also 2 ways: 1. Press and hold the side button and count to about 5 or 6, then let go and wait about 15 seconds and Voiceover should come on. 2.
