That depends on what you call "affordable." Good ones aren't cheap, and alternatively, cheap ones aren't good--they lack features one wants in a sound bar, like wireless operation and not Bluetooth wireless.

OK, the caveats out of the way, I love my Sonos Beam, about $400. It's compact--about two feel long and four inches high and deep. It has four radiators that deliver a lot of sound and a lot of low end without sounding forced, and without the low end sounding delayed in any way like some of the old Bose Wave systems sounded. The beam can work on a Wi-Fi network, or be hardwired into your in-house LAN, you can connect it to a computer via an HDMI cable, or to a sound source via an eighth-inch (3.5mm) jack, all on its rear panel. The iPhone and Windows setup applications are accessible and straightforward to use. It doesn't weigh a ton, so it's easily movable from room to room. I even took it on a gig one day instead of putting a big-box amplified speaker in my shopping cart with all the other stuff I brought because the room was small. Even so, the Beam audio filled the room and spilled out into the hallway where people were sticking their heads in the door wondering where the jazz band was!

One thing the Beam has which is not fun is controls on its top surface that are not in any way tactile. I suppose one could mark their positions with tape or Loc Dots, but I never bothered doing that. Instead, I just control it from the computer.

Hi folks,
Any good sound bar recommendation? Affordable and easy to set up for my PC. For
music lover too!

Thx,
