Sounds like you might be experiencing spatial audio. When listening to a book,
go into the control center, double tap on the volume slider and turn spatial
audio off.

Subject: Strange audio effect in the bard app after updating to iOS 15

Hi all,
I bought a set of AirPod Pro maxes a couple of weeks ago and they seemed to
work normally when I read with the bard app. However, since I have updated to
iOS 15, there seems to be a strange echo when reading audiobooks from bard.
While I do enjoy an extra echo now and then, I would like to be able to read my
books normally without the distracting cave man effect. Does anybody have any
idea as to how I can take this obnoxious echo away when reading books from Bard?
I have tried turning off spatial audio and it still makes no difference. It
seems to only happen when I use my AirPod maxes and AirPod pros.
Thank you all for any help you can provide!
