Here's how we do it with our SE2020 iPhones running iOS14.8 and both Windows
7 & 10 operating systems:

1. Plug the iPhone into the PC, and single finger double tap the Trust
device option.

2. Open Explorer with the keystroke, Windows key + E, find Apple iPhone and
press enter.

3. Select and open a folder named, Internal Storage, and open the, DCIM,
folder.

4. The only folder I have here is, you may have more, 100Apple, and this is
where my pictures are stored.
Now copy / paste this folder to a flashdrive or whatever you want to, and
you've successfully moved / saved a copy of your picture folder.

Stay safe & take care. Mike.
Just once, I want a username and password prompt to say: "Close Enough!"

What I normally do with my photos since I take a lot of pictures when I go
on trips, I email the photos one by one to myself, save them on my computer
from my email, copy paste/cut and paste all the pictures to my flash drive
and then I delete them off my phone. I have a 6S.
