Hello, first of all I am CCing the developer of that app in this email. And he might be able to shed some light to you privately. Secondly, if you're using the same Apple ID that you've always used, meaning you did not make a new Apple ID whenever you set up one of your previous iPhones, you should not be asked to pay for it again. Hopefully Ilkka will be able to provide you with some information as well.
