Sorry, and yes, soundbars play sound from the TV, that is their original purpose, you put them under your TV and depending on your TV it may automatically turn off its internal speakers once you connect a soundbar or you may have to go into the TV's settings and do this manually. The Arc has an HDMI connection to the TV and I assume the Beam does as well, my original Sonos Playbar which does not support Dolby Atmos or any digital assistants but still has the 11 drivers like the Arc had an optical input so you would go from your TV's optical out to the soundbar. I actually have to still advertise my Sonos Playbar along with the set of Sonos Play 1 speakers and the first generation wireless Sub which I had for quite a few years before upgrading to the Arc with a set of Sonos SL and the latest generation wireless Sub. I'm quite bad sometimes when it comes to selling old stuff, I have had my iPhone 11 for over a year and still have my iPhone 8 sitting around in its original box, all wiped and reset and occasionally I charge it, really have to get on this. -----Original Message----- From: viphone@googlegroups.com <viphone@googlegroups.com> On Behalf Of mich verrier Sent: October 26, 2021 6:25 AM To: viphone@googlegroups.com Subject: RE: Soundbar app accessibility

And what does one do over the other? -----Original Message----- From: viphone@googlegroups.com <viphone@googlegroups.com> On Behalf Of Sieghard Weitzel Sent: Monday, October 25, 2021 11:54 PM To: viphone@googlegroups.com Subject: RE: Soundbar app accessibility You should look at the Sonos Beam or, if the price is OK for you, the Sonos Arc. Just go to www.Sonos.com and you can check it there, both the Beam and Arc are soundbars, but Sono sis also a lot more as you can use the app to play just about anything on earth. I have never seen another company which supports as many music services both paid and free ones and the Sonos app is extremely accessible and the sound quality of all their speakers is fantastic. Bot the Beam and Arc also support Amazon Alexa and Google Assistant although you still can't have both digital assistants active at the same time. Lastly, if you invest in a Sonos Beam or Arc and you later on want to add a set of Sonos One or other speakers in a different room you can always add to your Sonos system which will then allow you to play music in different rooms, you can group speakers and play the same or you can play different things in different rooms. -----Original Message----- From: viphone@googlegroups.com <viphone@googlegroups.com> On Behalf Of Melanie Clouser Sent: October 25, 2021 10:52 AM To: viphone@googlegroups.com Subject: Soundbar app accessibility Hello. I'm in the market for a soundbar. Can anyone tell me if the Bose app is accessible? I downloaded the app to test it out but it wants me to register with my device ... and I haven't yet bought a soundbar. I wanted to test out different apps before settling on a device.
