I actually didn't even through the regular iPhone 8 into the comparison, here are its dimensions and weight:
138.4 x 67.3 x 7.3 mm 5.45 x 2.65 x 0.29 inches 148 grams or 5.22 ounces Display size 4.7 inches (65% screen-to-body ratio) So, compared to a regular iPhone 13 or 13 Pro the 8 is just over 8mm or a third of an inch shorter, 4mm (just over an eigth inch) narrower and pretty much the same thickness. The weight is 26 grams lighter which is almost an ounce lighter than a 13/13 Pro. Once again, height is less important than width as to how you perceive size when you hold it so the just over an eighth and less than a quarter inch wider width of the iPhone 13 would be not very noticeable and even if you do notice it at first, you would be used to it after a few days. What is a big difference is screen size as you go from 4.7 inches on the iPhone 8 to 6.1 inches on the iPhone 13/13 Pro so just under 1.5 inches more screen size on a phone which is barely larger. I like to be able to hold the phone in one hand I don’t like the larger phones that you have to hold with 2 hands. Just my thoughts. From Mich. Just to add to my previousemail with the exact comparison between Esther's 7 Plus and the 13/13 Pro and 13 Pro Max, here are the actual physical dimensions of the iPhone 11 Pro Max which I believe you had: 158 x 77.8 x 8.1 mm 6.22 x 3.06 x 0.32 inches That is basically exactly the same as an old Plus phone like the 7 Plus or 8 Plus, width is the same exactly, height is 6.22 inches for the 11 Pro Max and 6.23 inches for the 7 Plus so a difference of 0.01 inches, once again so small you can notice if you put one phone on top of the other, but holding them it's more the width you would notice and that is the same. Comparing a 11 Pro Max to a 13 Pro Max the width once again is the same and the height is now 0.1 inches less on the 11 Pro Max (6.23 vs 6.33) in millimeter that is 2.8mm and 3mm is an eight of an inch so once again extremely small. The weight of the 11 Pro Max is 12 grams less, a fair bit less than half an ounce. The only difference between the 12 pro max and the 13 pro max is that the buttons are placed differently. Other than that, they are both the same size, by quite a bit bigger than an XR.
