Hi Anthony, You go into settings under messages. It should be the first thing on top where it says iMessage, and Voiceover should tell you if you have it on or off. If it’s on, your messages will be sent as iMessages. If it’s toggled off, then your messages will be sent as text messages. If you have contacts that are not using iPhones and if your phone is not connected to the internet, your messages will also be sent as text messages. Hope this is helpful.
