I have my American number active on the e-sim of my iPhone. This way I
have the physical nano sim card tray available for travel. Since I
usually travel to more than one country, I find this very convenient.
When I am in a European country I insert in the tray a sim card from
that European country. If I am visiting the Middle East, I put in the
tray the sim card of the Middle Eastern country I am visiting. It is
important to remember that it is much easier to buy a physical card than
to activate an e-sim card. The e-sim has to be ordered ahead of time and
then later be activated by calling customer's service of the phone
provider, while the physical sim can be purchased from any phone store.
Cheers,

Thanks, I would do that again.
I went to STC website and they support it and discuss E-SIM at Length.

I personally think it's probably safer to switch your main provider to
eSIM unless you know for sure the local provider where you are going
will have eSIM vouchers. If so then it is probably just as easy to get
the eSIM from the local provider when you travel. For me when I go to
the Philippines I know that I can always get a SIM card, not so sure
about eSIM, but then I haven't really looked into it.

Thanks much, Sieghard.
One more question:
Does it matter whether I am taking E-SIM from my main provider or from
a local provider in Saudi Arab? Or, does the E-SIM have to be from the
main provider only?
Thanks

Which iPhone SE? I assume the SE 2020 supports dual SIM, if it does
and if the foreign provider supports eSIM then the answer would be Yes.

Hi, Group.
Can I have a Nano SIM in iPhone SE from my Canadian provider, Freedom
Mobile and an E-SIM from a foreign provider, STC?
Thanks!
