Did you accidentally set your region language to French? That’s the only thing I can think of. You can reset that just search for a region language or something to the effect of that and you should be able to reset the language to English. So basically what you want to go do is go to settings general
Then scroll down and tap or double tap in our case language and region, double tap device language, here you will see a list of languages select English and then confirm it and then all should be good.
