My understanding is that if the message is going out as an SMS message, then it'll be broken up into physical messages of about 153 characters. Whether it comes through as a single message in the proper order will depend on the cell carriers involved and the messaging app being used on the receivers phone. I would bet that this should just mostly work, but there may be some clunky providers or messaging apps that have trouble with this.
-- Christopher (AKA CJ) Chaltain at Outlook -----Original Message----- From: viphone@googlegroups.com <viphone@googlegroups.com> On Behalf Of Donald Roberts Sent: Wednesday, April 20, 2022 12:53 PM To: viphone@googlegroups.com Subject: Text message question I have send as SMS turned on because some of my contacts use Android. Because of the 140 character limits of text messages, I am wondering whether all parts of a truncated message will be sent to the recipient or only the first segment. I should probably mention that I am using IOS 15.4. Thanks. Don Roberts -- The following information is important for all members of the V iPhone list.
