I'm still having trouble with the idea of a password manager. If I decide to use LastPass or 1 Password they tell me I only have to remember one password. That's a good thing. I definitely have more passwords than I can keep straight. But, how does that work? Do I have to re-sign in to everyone of the sites I connect with that has a user name and a password? What about the two newspapers I read that have my wife's user name and password, will I end up changing her password? I use MS Edge for some web sites and Google Chrome for others, does that matter? Does anyone know of a web site that explains this kind of thing? Thanks for your help. Sorry if I'm being slow witted here.
