And while some prefer Google Maps others prefer Apple Maps, both are very good at this stage.

Keep the VO focus off the next turn which is in the upper left corner, or it will drive you 'round the bend chattering all the time. But you can also touch there to get the distance to the next turn and then flick to the right to get off that spot.
