Subject: Re: Any Advice on Setting up the NLS e-Reader Humanware Braille
Display with iOS / iPad OS?

Hi Mark. If you ask your library they should subscribe you to the NLS Ereader
newsletter. If they don't, I can find the subscription information for you,
but for all intents and purposes they should connect you with it.

I use mine with my Iphone all the time.

I connect it like any other braille display, go to accessibility, voiceover,
braille, and when it shows your display it should say NLS Humanware Ereader
with a number after it. I then go to bluetooth and make sure it's showed up in
there, sometimes you have to turn that off and on to get it to see it, but I
haven't had to do that since the last couple updates. Now when I go to braille
display on the ereareader, and to connected displays, it will say, HP Users
Iphone with the six dots after the word iphone, and that is how you know you're
connected. Usually It won't show those cells up right away and I press enter,
and then it connects. I had lots of trouble getting it to connect a while back
but haven't had any problems with it for a long time.

I hope this helps you, if not let me know.

Take care,

Patti
