People's ideas of what a clear voice is really depends on each person. I for example have used Alex in the past and I think he sounds fine. I think a lot of the voices on IOS 16 sound better then they did before. I've played around with some of the novelty voices and I can understand most of them. I think eloquence sounds just fine coming from my phone and that is what I'm using for now. I for one would always use a higher quality voice and never those compact junky voices that are so small in size. That is one reason why I bought a phone with one terabyte of space. I don't have to worry about needing space for a long time.
