If anything I think enhanced Ava is a tiny bit faster in IOS 16, but it may just be my imagination.
BTW, I’m sticking with Enhanced Ava. Hi. I’m not one of those that has Voiceover speak very fast. I was happy with 50% speaking rate. When I upgraded to iOS 16, however, the speech is noticeably slower. I checked the rate, and it’s still at 50%. I increased it on the home screen to 55%, and it significantly got faster than what I’m used to on my phone. I think it will work, so I’m not that worried about it. I guess I could make a finer adjustment in Voiceover settings, so I might do that in the end.
