I obviously hope they will be well, but as long as they are hopefully vaccinated I doubt it will be very serious. My wife and I both were sick for a few days with very mild flu symptoms at the beginning of July and while we didn't test, my niece who we were around and who is a nurse also had similar symptoms and she did test positive so I assume we also had it. The fact is that by now a very large percentage of the population has had COVID-19 as the Omicron variant (especially the latest variations) are much more contagious, but fortunately most people also don't get nearly as sick as they did in the first year with the Alpha and later Delta variants.
