I got a talking unit from Amazon for $29.95.
i do not recall the brand, but it is a traditional cabled unit, no connectivity with smart devices. It talks you through the entire process and speaks the BP, pulse, and tells you the category of the reading, i. e. low, normal, mild, moderate, or severe hypertension. You can store readings within the device, and even get an average over time, but there is no way to export the information.
Well worth the money though.

just search on Amazon for talking blood pressure monitor.

I have a talking blood pressure unit from some brand called Yu Well I got off of Amazon. It works well enough. I use an app called SmartBP to track my readings. It's completely VoiceOver accessible. Something like $10 a year.

I'd personally prefer the app for reasons I put in the list lol.

Are you kidding me I'd love that! Seriously I'd love that! Have you
ever experienced a blood pressure cuff that squeezed again before it
had even completely let up because there was an error like you had it
too low on your arm or something? That's happened to me numerous
times, but the last time it did that, it squeezed so hard and it
seemed to take a long time before it stopped, and I don't think it's
considered claustrophobia because when you're claustrophobic, you feel
scared in a confined space, but I felt like I would never get my arm
out ever again. I got so scared my mom had to come over and press on
the power button I guess it is, so the air would go out and the cuff
would let up. If there would be an app, that would be fantastic! Please, let me know! Thanks.

Hello, all:

Is there an app I can use with an IPhone that would help check blood
pressure. I found two talking blood pressure machines which were not
as accurate as my primary care doctor's whose monitor doesn't speak
audibly. This is quite frustrating since my blood pressure can fluctuate.

The other question is would I need to purchase an Apple watch or just
use some type of app strictly with the phone? Thanks in advance.
