Holly,

Good questions, and I have done all of the above! I started out with the
paper printouts, which flew away and were useless in the rain. Then I put them
in freezer bags, which worked but was not exactly slick! Then I laminated them,
and this was much better! You really feel like you have something identifiable,
not just bits of paper. They work well inside and, if you live in a fairly dry
climate, I live in Ireland! they will do alright outside. However, NaviLens do
suggest that the best is printing on Vinyl. I bought some Vinyl Paper from
Amazon, these are self adhesive, just pull off the backing. With the laminated
ones, I use double sided sticky tape, but it doesn't stay on in the wind and
rain.

You do need a colour printer to print them. This is one good reason for
starting up a new email list, for swapping ideas and experiences.

The clothing labels are available online, from spain, they do cost, maybe
30 euros/dollars, for about 70 labels, but don't quote me on that, I can try
and find out more?

If you haven't tried the labels yet, I do urge you to, they are not only
great for giving us access to signage, something the sighted world has had for
ever, and now can be for us too! They can be brilliant for orientation and so
much more!

    Sandy and Zyon the thief!
