It just depends on how much you use your iPhone and how you charge it. I had to replace the battery on my iPhone 8 after a few years. I now have a new battery that is at 91%. Granted, I haven't used my iPhone 8 much since I got my iPhone 13 pro max. I keep my old phone around because of all the bard books that are on it.
