I downloaded the book; it took quite a while even though I was using the same wifi connection I use to download to my computer but it did download. I was presented with a screen asking me where to open it and I chose the default which was filer. I was then able to plug my phone into the computer and in iTunes transfer the file to my computer. Also in iTunes, I then deleted the file from my phone. But so far I haven't thought of a way to send the file directly to a player that could read it. Maybe if you had a reader with wifi capability you could do it. If you could connect an sd card reader to an iPhone or iPad, you could also do that but I think the only thing like that is just for photos and videos for the iPad. Anyway, now I know it is possible to download the file and transfer it and delete it.
