What do you do on your phone to get it to tell you the temperature of your thermostat?

This voice never used to speak the masculine ordinal lingo before iOS16. Also, when I swipe one more time here's what is reported, Living room thermostat, current temperature 65 degrees button, calendar, sign or diagram The same voice never used to speak the calendar, sign and or diagram lingo before iOS16 either, and why does Siri voice speak degrees without the masculine ordinal in this dialog but not the prior dialog?. I'm sure this is all related to iOS16 but, could I have turned something on or off that may have triggered this abnormal speaking? If so what could it be?
