Ever since upgrading to iOS 16, I have noticed that continuous reading, invoked with the two finger swipe down, is really bad. I used to be able to read hugely long articles, but now it stops all the time. It seems to be triggered by stupid punctuation things like bullets, as if I care. Does anybody else notice this serious degradation in the ability to just read an article without all the nonsense stop and start. The point of continuous reading is, well, continuous reading. I have noticed this on an iPad mini six and my iPhone X r. It’s really seriously annoying.
