In my opinion; no. They are for drawing and/or handwriting. Even with VoiceOver on, I can think of no way to use one that could possibly justify the price. If you are good at handwriting, that can be added to the rotor and done with your finger tip, or the old style stylus which has the kind of rubberized tip that is conductive like your finger tip.
