I distinctly recall it being written somewhere (or perhaps it was one of
Jonathon Mosen’s FS Casts) that you don’t need an iDevice to sign up for an
iTunes account. If you share the same PC there is apparently a way to
separate the two accounts into alternative folder structures (if that’s what
you want), but since I’m alone I didn’t pay much attention. I’m sure if you
called 800-MyApple (800-692-7753) they would point you to the pertinent
documentations or maybe even offer you a list of steps to take.

Of course, this is all predicated on the assumption that you and Hubby are
using the same PC. If that isn’t the case then he should be able to simply go
to www.apple.com/iTunes to download the iTunes setup program and install on his
PC.

I doubt that he’d be able to use iTunes to manage objects on his Android phone,
but I would think that the manufacturer would provide the interface cables and
software to allow PC management of their phone. I know that Nokia provided a
USB interface cable and PC Suite for managing the Nokia 75 and 6650 I used in
the past.

Yes, he could get an iPhone.
All kidding aside, iTunes Match is an Apple based service so I don't think
there is a way for him to access your account.

Later,
Richard

Sadly, the excellent judgment my husband exhibited when choosing a wife was not
present in his selection of a cell pphone and he has a Droid. I am subscribing
to iTunes Match. Is there a way he can use my account?
