I just installed TapTapSee onto my new iPhone 12. It worked pretty well
on my iPad Mini 4.
After going through some disclaimers, I took a bunch of pictures in
various locations in our house. All it says every time is "black and
white abstract illustration".
I went to Camera and looked at various controls.
I know the camera is working because it told me that it was seeing a
book and a laptop, which are both in front of me. I didn't even ask it.
It just seem to spontaneously start looking at stuff. I didn't tell it
to take a picture.
But TapTapSee, when I took a picture in the same location still said
"black and white abstract illustration".
Is this app still working for anyone else? If so, can anyone suggest
something else I can do that might get it to work?
I just checked with Seeing AI's Scene recognition and it said "probably
a laptop on a desk", which is exactly correct. So the camera is
definitely working.
I like TapTapSee, but clearly there are alternatives. I can just drop it
if it isn't functioning anymore. But I would still like to keep it if I
can get it to work.
Thanks for any ideas.
