Another thing to check is that the aps are on your phone. Make sure they are
checked to sync in iTunes, because if they aren't on your phone, they can't
be updated there.

I was told on a different list to close app switcher and open the stuck
apps at the home screen. I did this and it cleared the problem.

That didn't do it, even with a Power Off/On sequence. Finding the app icon
and clicking on it led to an unable to install message, and that chanced the
status on the AppStore Update page from Installing to Update.

Thanks.

Take the app store out of your app switcher, and try to launch it againa nd
redo the updates.

If I understand you, the apps are nowhere on the home screen. They are only
on the Updates screen within the AppStore, where there is a dimmed
Installing button to the right of each.

Go to the actual app and double-tap on it when you have a good wifi
connection. This will resume the download and update of the app.

Hi,

I have 2 apps I've tried to install this weekend that just don't seem to go
anywhere. They're both listed on my Updates screen, with Installing button
dimmed, but nothing is happening with them. A number of other apps have
downloaded fine.

Is there anything I can or should do, or should I just leave them alone?
I've never run into this before.

Thanks in advance. Keith
