Just move the app out of the folder to your home screen, remove all of the other apps in your folder, so it disappears, and then move your app into the location you want. I’d move the app right before the folder and then delete everything in the folder, that should give you what you want.

Well, I deleted the overdrive app and the folder did not disappear so they must have changed that behavior which is really disappointing. Hi everyone! I had two apps in a folder on the home screen, the libby app and the overdrive app. I kept the overdrive app until it was discontinued at the beginning of may. I then deleted the overdrive app. I hoped that deleting one of the apps in the folder would take the folder away, but that turned out not to be the case. I started to remove the folder but voiceover said that the libby app would be moved to the app library, and I want it to stay where it is just without being in a folder. So how do I remove the folder without removing the app from its position on the home screen? -- The following information is important for all members of the V iPhone list.
