Hello,
I am new to mac so maybe it is just ignorance on my part, but I am
having a problem using my windows keyboard on my macbook pro.

The first time I plugged the keyboard in, I got a keyboard setup
window, but couldn't figure out how to move arround in the window so I
hope that the mac identified my keyboard properly.

Today when I went to my mac, I pressed control+f2 to open the apple
menu, and then control+shift+down arrow to open the menu. Now I assume
that since it said there were 10 items in the menu, I assumed I could
use the arrow keys to navigate the menu, but when I press up or down I
just get a beep.

Any suggestions on how to fix this problem would be greatly appreciated.

Sincerely,
Donald
