I was a bit confused by this, myself, at first. Here’s how it works for me, using the latest SE. After I open the App Store app, and double tap on Search, I move my finger to the top right of the screen. Just below where I hear my battery percentage, I hear “My Account”. Just below that is “Games, apps, stories, and more. Search field. Double tap to edit.” That’s where you want to enter your search. At first,I skiped over where I heard “games, apps, stories, and more” not realizing that was the Search field. Wonder if that could be better labeled?
