I tried to forward a text message to my main email, siegh...@outlook.com<mailto:siegh...@outlook.com> which is also my Apple Id email and all I received was an iMessage to myself, but it did not come to my email. I then tried to forward it to an Gmail address I have but rarely use and I actually received an email which showed my mobile number at msg.telus.com as the sender. Telus is my cell provider here in Canada so I guess I can simply forward a text message to anybody and that is what they would receive. Of course now that I know this works it's probably easier to forward it to my Gmail first and then I can forward it from inside Outlook and use any email I want as the sender so that people actually get an email from me instead of from such a strange email address.
