Hi, There is a raise wrist to wake setting that must be on in order to get that feature to work. That setting is under display and brightness in the watch app or on the watch itself. I did this and it is still a hit and miss but that is how you get it to work. One more setting to make sure is on is under Siri in the same settings, and make sure that raise to speak is on. That might not be the exact name of the setting, but it does have the term raise I believe.
