Well, once I actually paid attention to the Phone Link app on my Windows 11 Dell Laptop saying a program was preventing me from making calls, I decided to investigate what app on a Dell laptop conflicts with phone calls.
Dell supposedly has their own phone app. Dell Mobile Connect. I found the drivers listed in Programs and Features, uninstalled it, rebooted, and the Phone link app began working as you all have said it did immediately. So, if you have a Dell machine and cannot get it to work, try uninstalling the Dell Mobile Connect Drivers in Programs and Features. I was able to call my wife and she said I sounded very clear, using my Logitech USB headset. Persistence pays off again!
