Actually, it just occured to me that it could be simpler than I had thought.
The AI could describe a face, and it may very well know who it belongs
to, but be prohibited from disclosing any identifying information such
as name, address, phone number, etc.
ChatGPT is already prohibited from disclosing certain information, such
as how to make an atomic bomb, although it may well have a pretty good
idea as to how to do it. So they already know how to program it to not
reveal things.

If I understand correctly, and I'm not sure I do, the debate is over whether
Seeing and other similar apps should do facial recognition. I get it that many
people don't want to have their face recognized and I don't think blind
people's right to have faces recognized trumps the public's rights not to have
