I've reported it through feedback and called apple once 17 officially dropped.  
This was a on purpose change that I suspect will be rolled back.  The best they 
can do is give a user option to let us choose our sound.

I've had the same issue and have reported it in the Feedback Assistant. I 
suspect it's a glitch or a bug that may be sorted in an update.
